On my end of things, I’ve been hard at work putting the final touches on the soundtrack release for this space epic, and I’ve begun documenting some of my thoughts in a multi-part “Behind the Music” audio program. The first part, dealing with Rodina’s themes, exploration, and combat music is below.
Here’s a link, in case that doesn’t work properly for you: https://soundcloud.com/john-robert-matz/rodina-behind-the-music-i
Expect future installments to deal with the themes and cues for each of Rodina’s unique planets.
Finally, the headline news (for me, at least!) is that the SOUNDTRACK IS RELEASED!
Containing over an hour of orchestral and electronic music, It’s priced at only $5 and is available through my friends at Loudr.fm. This is probably my most involved score yet released, and I’m immensely proud of it.
Please check it out, and share it with any friends, family, neighborhood robots, etc. that might be interested.
I hope you all have as much fun listening to it, as I did writing it.
