Right about now we’re closing into the final hours of Fossil Echo‘s pre-order campaign. A 2D platformer with stunning hand-drawn graphics, a world influenced by Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, and Ghibli films, a wordless story told both through environmental storytelling and lush, fully animated cutscenes, and old-school gameplay with hints of Oddworld and Prince of Persia.
The game is available for $15 for the base game and $20 for the Special Edition, but during the pre-order you get the Special Edition for the price of the base game, $15.
The Special Edition includes the Original Soundtrack in MP3 and 24-bit, 48khz FLAC, a 20+ page PDF art book on the creation of the game, wallpapers, avatars, and more!
We release officially on July 1st though our site (and the corresponding Humble widget), and on Steam the following week, July 8th, but when you buy from us, you’ll get a Steam key to use immediately.

Otherwise, drop by our Steam page here:
I’ll be releasing bits of the Soundtrack over the next few days on my SoundCloud page, so tune in from time to time, or just check out my BandCamp or Loudr after the launch to download (and listen) to the full soundtrack!
Please help spread the word about Fossil Echo!
Yesterday, “Almightree: The Last Dreamer” was released yesterday on iOS (Universal). It’s a puzzle platformer with a spiffy art style. I wrote the eastern-inspired orchestral score and provided the protagonist with his voice.
Here’s a trailer:
The game is on the Apple app store for only $1.99:
So far, we’ve gotten some fantastic reviews, with TouchArcade calling it, “Excellent”, and Gamezebo praising it’s art, puzzle design, and “stirring” score. 🙂
And here’s a taste of thst score:
Let me know what you think in the comments, and, if you have an iOS device, please consider buying the game!
It’s apparently that time again, time to ape another famous composer for Freddie Wong and the RocketJump guys!
This time, it’s everyone’s favorite heavy-hitter, Hans Zimmer! (With complete apologies to Mr. Zimmer for what I’m about to attempt in his style…)
So, the plot is simple, a classic. It’s your standard boy-meets-girl, boy asks girl out on date, boy gets nervous, boy acquires incredibly complex high-tech military hardware from his old friend and colleague, Not-Morgan-Freeman, boy goes on date, things… happen.
So, yeah, predictable. 🙂
Enjoy “Skyhook”, a new take on the classic tale of youthful love, awkwardness, and C130’s.
